What we use

Public wedding planning activity that couples have chosen to share with the world. This includes information that is openly accessible without an account and content couples have made public on their own.

What we do with it

Troth interprets this activity into vendor-specific timing, fit, and opportunity recommendations. Recommendations are scoped to a vendor's service area, category, booking window, and business profile. Vendors review and act on those recommendations directly; Troth does not message couples on their behalf.

What we don't do

• Buy or resell contact lists
• Access private accounts or paywalled content
• Send messages to couples on a vendor's behalf
• Share couple data between vendors

Vendor product analytics

To improve the product, we use PostHog (US region) to track a narrow set of vendor actions inside Troth — specifically lead drill-ins and outreach marked as sent. PostHog receives your account email and these explicit events tagged to your vendor account. Automatic click and pageview capture is disabled, and session replay is not enabled. You can request deletion of your analytics record at any time by emailing privacy@gettroth.com.

Removal and review

Couples and the people associated with their planning can request removal at any time. Email privacy@gettroth.com with the names involved or a planning page URL. Removal is typically effective within a few business days. We also keep a suppression list so removed records do not resurface.

Retention

Wedding planning data is retained for up to 24 months past the wedding date, then de-identified or purged. Suppression records are retained indefinitely so a removal request does not need to be re-submitted.
